Going to conquer and learn everything I need to know about Gutenber Blocks and JS

To start, I downloaded the plugin and activated it on my website. This week I’m going to review a couple of videos and tutorials to get me started.

Learn about Gutenber

This is a paragraph block that I am testing. Each paragraph, heading, video or image embed is its own block. I need to learn how I will be able to style this with css. (I feel like my mind is going to be blown as to what I’ll be able to design with Gutenber) Each block has its own settings and an option to add your own CSS class.  🤯

Above the first paragraph is a video I embedded from WordPress.tv. When you want to add a new block there is a tab named Embed. In that tab you are given options to select to embed from various video website such as YouTube and Vimeo and many others.

Testing the text columns below with Lorem Ipsum text.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.

Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.

Testing the quote block and how this shows up on my website 😀
